New features include but not limited to, Hub direct drive and new fast road tyre.
Electric, foldable, and a modern and elegant design. MAD, the new VELOCIFERO e-scooter, is an example of how a bright idea turns into a successful product. Ergonomic shapes and fat wheels will be part of each path.
Its author is Alessandro Tartarini, one of the top 100 industrial designers in the world.
An exceptional cross between a mini-scooter and an electric bike, with very original styling: the bamboo footrest echoes the latest generation of skateboards, the fat tyres give it a sporty look, the accessory kit and the range of colours make it a product with a strong personality.
This top of the range model features a 1000 watt 48 Volt hub motor which gives equal power to a 1600 watt chain drive. With generous torque and enviable performance, these are attributes that give it the power to tackle all types of terrain.

1000w Hub Brushed Motor
Equivalent to a 1600w chain driven motor, this motor outputs 25Nm of torque which gets the Velocifero MAD racing all the way up to 45kmph. Paired with the 12Ah 48v lithium ion battery pack this scooter can cover up to 30km in one charge

A key safety feature to all vehicles, this LED brake light will let everyone know, whether it's dark or light out that you’re slowing down.
Semi–Slick Road Tyres
Fitted with excellent semi–slick tyres with minimal rolling resistance to maximise performance, aiding range and top speed, if you’re going to be riding on asphalt they’re the ones to go for. With 135/65–8 they can keep you rolling over any obstacle.
Wooden Deck
Improved aesthetics and feel with a wooden deck rather than the typical plastic. The Velocifero feels high quality and robust, with an easily wiped down varnished deck, the Velocifero should stay looking new for quite some time
Front and Rear Disc Brake
Using disc brakes for optimal stopping power. We’ve gone for cable operated brakes for ease of maintenance and adjustment.
Battery Indicator
Making sure you don’t get caught out and run the Velocifero out of charge, we’ve fitted it with a battery level indicator to ensure this doesn’t happen. Situated next to the throttle, it's easy to see as well.

Assembly
This product will benefit from being fully assembled free of charge and will receive a full pre-delivery inspection from our assembly team. Certain ancillary parts may need to be reattached due to transport limitations.
Warranty
These products are sold with our standard warranty, the same as if it was brand new. Unless otherwise stated this product is not designed for Motocross, Mini or BMX tracks and such use will invalidate the warranty. Limitations – Any modification, use of noncertified accessories, water ingress, misuse or incorrect assembly, maintenance or parts installation, or collision damage, will invalidate the warranty. Commercial use is prohibited.
Advice
A mechanically able person will be required to carry out the assembly and long-term maintenance of this product. Maintenance will be required to service the vehicle and fit parts to this product as usage requires. Please consider these requirements before purchasing the item. We do offer a FREE support line where our mechanics will diagnose problems and help you source any required parts, but you will be required to fit those parts and assist in the diagnosis.

1. Dispatch of Your Order
1.1 All goods are subject to availability.
1.2 Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. All delivery charges are shown for items in stock to U.K. mainland addresses only. If you require delivery to non-U.K. mainland address charges will vary depending upon the destination. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
1.3 We will try to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales.
1.4 Items ordered for collection using Click & Collect will be prepared as soon as possible. Communications will be sent by Email and Text to confirm the item is ready for collection with an expected collection time by the buyer of up to 7 days post confirmation the item is ready to collect.
1.5 For products listed on our Web Site outstanding orders can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.
2. Delivery
2.1. You should check your order carefully when it is delivered to you. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, or failing to match the items ordered by you, then you should notify us promptly. We use independent couriers in order to deliver goods to you a quickly and efficiently as possible. We need to hear from you as soon as possible if you believe that your order has been damaged in transit so that we can investigate the matter with our couriers.
2.2. Any product offering a free delivery promotion, will only include the free service within mainland England, and within a radius of our store. Restrictions to specific postcodes will apply. Items will be sent based upon an economy service and may take up to 10 working days.
3. Returns and Exchanges
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY ONLINE AND OVER THE PHONE ONLY
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from us and we aim to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times.
3.0 If you wish to cancel your order:
3.1 You can contact us via email at cs@funbikes.co.uk or phone on 01664 498 640 and quoting your order reference number.
3.2 You can notify us of your wish to return the goods to us for a full refund or exchange within the first 14 days of receipt, and a further 14 days are given for the goods to be received at our address. Preferably, the goods should be in the original packaging. The cost of returning the item is yours to bear.
3.3 Once we have received the item/s back you will receive a full refund or an exchange for credit for the amount paid. All refunds will be repaid into the same account from which payment was made.
3.4 The rights to return your items will not arise if the item/s have been used, damaged, modified or broken. This statement does not affect your statutory rights.
3.5 If any item is returned to us in a non-saleable condition, we have the right to reduce your refund up to the full purchase price.
3.6 Faulty or Damaged Goods: Online, Phone and Store Purchases.
3.7 You take full responsibility on receipt of the items you have ordered. Please contact us as soon as possible if any damage, fault occurs with your item within your warranty period. We may ask you to provide a picture of the damage via email. We will look at sending a replacement part to fix the issue but if a part will not resolve the problem then we will offer a return of the vehicle for a fix. A replacement/refund if deemed damaged beyond repair. A refund will not be offered on any assembly, misuse or wear and tear on the item. Please note that if a replacement is given this may be a refurbished item if the vehicle returned is used.
