Motor
The MXR1000 Dirt Bike is powered by one of the best motors available in this range. With a large, powerful 1000w motor, this bike really pulls and is the perfect next step up from our smaller electric MXR range.
Twistgrip Throttle
Classed as a mini dirt bike, the twistgrip throttle unit gives the MXR1000 an original dirt bike feeling, alongside an LCD battery display indicating how much longer you have to continue enjoying the ride!
Rear Shock
The MXR1000’s rear mono-shock absorber works well and feels great, whilst improving the overall handling and offering a smooth and controlled ride over rough ground.
Wheels
A 12” front wheel and 10” rear wheel makes this one of the larger kids electric dirt bike we sell, and the higher grade tyres provide much better grip and reduce the number of changes required.
Speed Dials
One unique feature is the intelligent control unit which allows the user to control; Throttle Response – choose how you want the power delivery, sporty & aggressive, soft & gentle, or somewhere in between? Speed Setting – you set the top speed (from 5 to 17mph). Motor Power – lets you adjust the percentage of available motor power from low to 100%.
Top speed will surpass 26Kmph. With that performance, you'll also be grateful for the high specification, light-touch front and rear cable operated brakes.
Almost silent, this bike will offer up to 15km of fun in almost any environment. Suitable for all ages with a maximum rider weight of 65kg.

Due to evolving safety regulations and the performance of this product (up to 17mph), FunBikes now offers measurement-based suitability guidance rather than estimated age ranges. This ensures that every rider is assessed for fit and safety based on their physical size and ability, not just age.
The MXR 1000w is a high-performance kids' electric dirt bike — far beyond the capabilities of standard ride-on toys. With power, off-road-ready tyres, and a robust suspension system, this model is intended for competent riders with the appropriate physical proportions and confidence to handle a 1000w output.
Fitment Measurement Guide (Seat Height & Inside Leg)
To determine whether the MXR 1000w is a suitable fit, please measure the rider's inside leg and compare to the bike's seat height. A proper fit ensures stability, comfort, and safer operation.
- Bike Seat Height: 65cm
- Recommended Inside Leg Measurement: Between 60cm and 75cm
(Measure from the crotch to the ground, standing straight in shoes similar to what the rider would wear)
How to measure: Have the rider stand flat-footed against a wall, feet hip-width apart. Measure from the crotch to the floor. This is their inside leg — it should fall between 60cm and 75cm to comfortably reach the ground and foot pegs.

Performance
This product is capable of speeds up to 17mph and includes adjustable speed restrictor settings/dials.
Due to its high-performance nature, this is not a toy, but a scaled-down dirt bike requiring coordination, confidence, and appropriate physical size, and has a manufacturer’s recommended age of 14+.

Assembly
As standard, this model requires partial assembly. Approx. 60 minutes. Please see our example assembly videos for more information. Important - Please ensure the battery is fully charged before use as per instructions. Batteries have a memory and not fully charging will damage the performance.
Warranty
Standard 6 Month Manufacturing Defect Warranty. Unless otherwise stated this product is not designed for Motocross, Mini or BMX tracks and such use will invalidate the warranty. Limitations – Any modification, use of noncertified accessories, water ingress, misuse or incorrect assembly, lack of or incorrect maintenance, incorrect parts installation, or collision damage, will invalidate the warranty. Commercial use is prohibited.
Advice
A mechanically able person will be required to carry out the assembly and long-term maintenance of this product. Maintenance will be required to service the bike and fit parts to this product as usage requires. Please consider these requirements before purchasing the item. We do offer a FREE support line where our mechanics will diagnose problems and help you source any required parts, but you will be required to fit those parts and assist in the diagnosis.

1. Dispatch of Your Order
1.1 All goods are subject to availability.
1.2 Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. All delivery charges are shown for items in stock to U.K. mainland addresses only. If you require delivery to non-U.K. mainland address charges will vary depending upon the destination. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
1.3 We will try to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales.
1.4 Items ordered for collection using Click & Collect will be prepared as soon as possible. Communications will be sent by Email and Text to confirm the item is ready for collection with an expected collection time by the buyer of up to 7 days post confirmation the item is ready to collect.
1.5 For products listed on our Web Site outstanding orders can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.
2. Delivery
2.1. You should check your order carefully when it is delivered to you. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, or failing to match the items ordered by you, then you should notify us promptly. We use independent couriers in order to deliver goods to you a quickly and efficiently as possible. We need to hear from you as soon as possible if you believe that your order has been damaged in transit so that we can investigate the matter with our couriers.
2.2. Any product offering a free delivery promotion, will only include the free service within mainland England, and within a radius of our store. Restrictions to specific postcodes will apply. Items will be sent based upon an economy service and may take up to 10 working days.
3. Returns and Exchanges
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY ONLINE AND OVER THE PHONE ONLY
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from us and we aim to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times.
3.0 If you wish to cancel your order:
3.1 You can contact us via email at cs@funbikes.co.uk or phone on 01664 498 640 and quoting your order reference number.
3.2 You can notify us of your wish to return the goods to us for a full refund or exchange within the first 14 days of receipt, and a further 14 days are given for the goods to be received at our address. Preferably, the goods should be in the original packaging. The cost of returning the item is yours to bear.
3.3 Once we have received the item/s back you will receive a full refund or an exchange for credit for the amount paid. All refunds will be repaid into the same account from which payment was made.
3.4 The rights to return your items will not arise if the item/s have been used, damaged, modified or broken. This statement does not affect your statutory rights.
3.5 If any item is returned to us in a non-saleable condition, we have the right to reduce your refund up to the full purchase price.
3.6 Faulty or Damaged Goods: Online, Phone and Store Purchases.
3.7 You take full responsibility on receipt of the items you have ordered. Please contact us as soon as possible if any damage, fault occurs with your item within your warranty period. We may ask you to provide a picture of the damage via email. We will look at sending a replacement part to fix the issue but if a part will not resolve the problem then we will offer a return of the vehicle for a fix. A replacement/refund if deemed damaged beyond repair. A refund will not be offered on any assembly, misuse or wear and tear on the item. Please note that if a replacement is given this may be a refurbished item if the vehicle returned is used.
